Today’s post we will be reviewing and swatching the Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Palette which is the palette I used for my most recent Youtube tutorial and collaboration with my fellow Instagram friend @candid.yadi, so please do have a look at her page, she’s a very talented MUA! I’ll put all her link information at the bottom of this post if you are interested to see her social links!

Swatches & Review

The swatches from left to right:

  • Charmer
  • Jetsetter
  • Rocker
  • Smokeshow
  • Flower Child
  • Smarty Pants
  • Firecracker
  • Activist
  • Funny Girl
  • Sweetheart
  • Rebel
  • Leader

Quality

I find some eyeshadows easy to blend while others can take a little bit of work. The ones I find that are easy to blend in my opinion are:

  • Jetsetter
  • Smarty Pants
  • Flower Child

Although these shades are light and slightly match my skin tone, I believe they’re great as transition shades.

Shades that are little hard to blend

The shades I find harder to blend are:

  • Smokeshow
  • Activist
  • Leader
  • Rebel

And these happen to be my favourite from the palette! Nevertheless, I wouldn’t say they are very hard to blend but you need to take some time and patience to blend this out to how you want your overall look to be.

Shades that I use with a finger or wet brush

The shades I use with my finger or wet brush would be:

  • Funny Gir
  • Firecracker
  • Rocker

These are the shimmery shades from the palette and I find them beautiful!! Really nice as a highlighter shades on the eyes and help your eyes pop!

Shade range

  • The shades you will find are mostly warmed toned browns, burgundies and maroon type of shades and a couple of cool-toned browns as well.
  • I believe this palette is super versatile, you can definitely wear a day look and use the dark or shimmery shades to take it to a night look
  • I’d definitely take this palette only to travel with

Packaging

It comes in a small metal case with a very handy mirror! Which is why I think it’s a great palette to travel with because of the mirror.

Price

The palette is $69AUD which you can purchase at Sephora in Australia. I feel like this is a reasonable price for the versatility of the palette and the colour range.

I actually bought this palette for myself as a birthday present a while back and I use it all the time! Even my friends who have the palette agree with me šŸ™‚

Overall thoughts

This is one of my favouriteĀ palettes that I own! I’m so happy that I have it as part of my collection and I can’t live without it! Here’s a look I did recently in the tutorial below:
