This is not a post about your starter kit of brushes but rather what you definitely should have in your makeup kit to achieve the best results 🙂
These are my top picks of must have brushes that you can’t live without:
Sigma E25 Blending Brush
This is a must-have no matter what kind of eye shape you have. It’s fluffy enough to blend your eyeshadows and the size is just enough to blend into the crease or your outer v area.
I have two of these because if one is dirty af, I’ve got the other to use as a backup! (I do this with most of my makeup tools that I love, in fact, I have 4 beauty blenders now!)
I ordered mine off the Sigma website and I had no problems with delivery and online experience.
Round Kabuki Foundation Brush
I’ve converted to beauty blenders for that flawless finish but I still go back to my round kabuki foundation brushes from time to time. It still gives you the flawless finish in my opinion.
Some of my favourite round kabuki style brushes are:
- Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
- Morphe Round Kabuki Brush (which is part of a great set)
Real Techniques 300 Tapered Brush
I use this for under the eye area. It’s the perfect brush to set that area with powder. The brush is tapered which is the ideal size.
However, it’s used for highlighting and sculpting the cheeks which I haven’t tried yet.
I know this isn’t a brush per se, but it’s so important to have one in your tool kit. A beauty blender or sponge makes your foundation look super flawless and it takes away excess product to make your base appear less cakey.
I have 4 in my collection! Because I never want to not be without one. I still use brushes to apply my concealer and foundation, but at the moment I love how it looks when I use a beauty blender.
My favourite brands to use in no particular order:
